(SENIOR) SERVICE ENGINEER

Support customers in the Benelux with main focus on connectivity: building transmission networks for network operators, enterprise customers and utility companies.

Responsibilities

• Delivering outstanding technical support for our customers:
• Installing and expanding transmission networks
• Maintaining existing installations
• Support solution offerings with proof-of-concepts
• Technical training of our customers
• Keep up-to-date on relevant competitive solutions, products and services

Profile

• Higher education (Bachelor or Master) or equal by experience
• Experience in some or all following domains:
  - Optical Transmission (C/DWDM)

              - Packet Optical Transport (Carrier Ethernet, MPLS)

              - Network Management Software

              - Access Technologies (PON, AE Fast)

              - Routing & Switching

• Innovative & creative with commercial feeling
• Teamplayer with good communication skills
• Creative problem solver, driven to succeed with focus on results
• Accurate reporting and documenting of activities
• Mobile and flexible, willing to work outside office hours from time to time
• Willing to travel abroad from time to time
• Experience with telecom transport equipment is an asset
• NL-EN or FR-EN (Trilingual Dutch, English, French is a plus)
